The Old Park

The Old Park

The villa and 18th century farmhouse stand in grounds laid out during the 19th century.
Carefully designed flowerbeds are a riot of flowers and ornamental plants during spring and summer.
Rare species like the Japanese pagoda and redwood (sequoia) tree, planted in the mid-19th century have now come into their full glory.
In May, the roses are in their prime. Beds of prize damask roses, espaliers and arbours turn the garden into a therapeutic haven of colours and soothing smells.
The Italian garden frames the greenhouse and a small private swimming pool amidst an orchard of old fruit trees.
